Starring Kiran Abbavaram, Sri Gouri Priya, and Trigun, ‘Chennai Love Story’ continued its theatrical run with a noticeable drop in collections on its first Monday after a promising opening weekend. The romantic drama is directed by Ravi Namburii, with a story and screenplay by National Award-winning filmmaker Sai Rajesh.According to Sacnilk, the film collected an estimated Rs 3 crore net in India on Day 4, marking a 53.8% decline from its Rs 6.50 crore net collection on Sunday.The film was screened across 1,782 shows on Monday. With the latest earnings, its total India net collection has reached Rs 20.20 crore, while the India gross collection stands at Rs 23.20 crore.In overseas markets, the film added Rs 50 lakhs gross on Day 4, taking its international total to Rs 5.50 crore gross. As a result, the film’s worldwide gross collection has climbed to Rs 28.70 crore.
Day 4 occupancy
The Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 38.44% on Monday. Night shows witnessed the strongest response with 44.62% occupancy, followed by afternoon shows at 40.69%. Morning shows registered 17.77%, while evening shows recorded 27.85% occupancy.
State-wise gross collection
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the biggest contributors on Day 4 with Rs 3 crore gross. Karnataka followed with Rs 35 lakhs, while Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 2 lakhs. The rest of India added Rs 5 lakhs, taking the film’s Day 4 India gross to Rs 3.42 crore.
