Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ has been showcasing steady growth in its box office collections. The movie is currently in its third week and has already crossed Rs 200 crore worldwide. While the arrival of new films has affected the earnings of the horror comedy, it still managed to rake in a substantial number on its third Sunday.

The Priyadarshan directorial had raked in Rs 84.40 crore in its first week at the box office. In the following week, the movie minted Rs 43.75 crore. Now, according to the Sacnilk report, Day 16 saw a 3.3% drop in box office collections compared to Day 15.On day 16, ‘Bhooth Bangla’ collected Rs 4.35 crore across 4,435 shows. This pushed the total India gross collection to Rs 162.73 crore, and the total India net earnings have reached Rs 137 crore.

Akshay Kumar ended the reign of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ at the theatres and went on to cross the Rs 100 crore worldwide mark in just 4 days of its release.On Day 16, the movie minted Rs 1.50 crore in the overseas market, pushing the total overseas gross to Rs 55 crore. With that, the movie’s worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 217.73 crore.
